On our Moreton Island 3 Day tour the National Park birding watching Tour, we not only camp inside of the national park, which allows for 24 hour watches but are adjacent to Moreton Bay Marine Park - with mangroves, tidal sand systems and coastal waterways, both fresh, salt and a mixture make this area home to over 300 bird species of these at different times of the year. Our 2 or 3 day bird watching tours are an excellent way of seeing many of Australia's unique bird species, wildlife, landscapes, flora and fauna with a small and friendly group of like minded people.
After a meet and greet with your guide at Brisbane City or the Ferry we travel to Moreton Island, Fraser Island with a number of habitats to see over the next few days.
Both islands cover a number of habitats included are some areas of highlight and the birds that can be seen - Camping or Accommodation within the National Park is also a bonus as we can take a short coastal forest walks at any time. By 4WD we will travel to open and forested woodlands and coastal heathland, freshwater creeks and inter tidal salt marsh wilderness zones, marine park areas, and paperbark swap marsh health land.
